3 Crossfit Workouts for Everyone

Hi everyone and welcome back to my website. This post will feature 3 exercises I have learned from my many years doing Crossfit. As you may know I love Crossfit and the revolutionary way it allows people to keep their workouts interesting and fun. The three exercises listed below are designed for anyone who is looking to shed a few pounds or increase their overall health. Now these exercises are beginner level moves but it is important to take them seriously and make sure you are fully stretched out and physically able to do them.

One More Minute:

After doing your normal workout, whether its cardio or weightlifting based, you’re going to want to push yourself just a little further. This exercise will push you just a little further to help increase your heart rate and make you sweat.

Use your phone and set a timer that sounds every minute. Set the timer for 10 minutes and follow the pattern listed below.

Minute 1 = 1 burpee

Minute 2 = 2 burpees

Minute 3 = 3 burbees



steve-ellis-cindy-hickoryIn my time doing Crossfit I have learned about this exercise by only one name, “Cindy.” Cindy will push you even more when it comes to your health and fitness goals. Cindy is a classic Crossfit workout that combines a few of the main staples that comprise the Crossfit lifestyle.

Use your phone again and set a timer for 20 minutes. Complete as many rounds as you can within the 20 minute window.

The Workout:
5 pull ups 10 push ups 15 squats This equals 1 round*  

Full-Body Countdown:

This exercise involves the combination of 3 separate exercises that work together to tone and firm up some of your body’s hardest to exercise areas. You will decrease the number of reps in each round you complete so be sure to keep track of where you started and left off.

Dumbbell Thrusters Burpees V-ups There will be 10 rounds for this circuit. Each round you will count down until you complete the very last round. Feel free to take breaks as you need them but remember the clock is ticking.
